Jimmy Garoppolo – QB

In his first full season as a starting quarterback in the NFL, Jimmy Garoppolo put up some pretty impressive numbers.

Garoppolo completed 69.1 percent of his passes for 3,978 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions in 16 games for the 49ers this year. In addition to his 13 picks though, the San Francisco quarterback also had 10 fumbles in 2019.

While Garoppolo has had his share of turnovers this season, he’s also shown that he’s capable of putting the offense on his back with a great performance.

In three of the 49ers’ final nine games of the year, the 28-year-old quarterback threw for at least 315 yards and four touchdowns. Unsurprisingly, each of these contests turned out to be victories for San Francisco.

On the flip-side, Garoppolo turned the ball over at least once in 11 of the 49ers’ 16 games this season. The Vikings have forced 13 turnovers in their last four matchups, so one can imagine Mike Zimmer will be coming up with a number of different methods to try and get the San Francisco quarterback to cough up the football on Saturday.
