Who are five current Minnesota Vikings players that could have bigger roles for the team during the 2020 season?

This season, the Minnesota Vikings finished the regular season at 10-6 and secured themselves a spot in the NFL playoffs.

The Vikings had a lot of stars on their roster who came up big in key spots. Names like Kirk Cousins, Stefon Diggs, Dalvin Cook, and Kyle Rudolph were all standouts on the offensive side of the ball. Defensively, guys like Eric Kendricks, Danielle Hunter, Everson Griffen, and Anthony Harris led the way.

Not only did the big names produce, but many players who had bit roles in 2019 stepped up when it mattered most. These are the guys who rarely get to start, but do get in on a rotational or situational basis. These players were all key in helping the Vikings achieve their winning record and make their playoff push.

Minnesota’s coaching staff is well aware of these contributors and many of these same players could find themselves with larger roles in 2020. So who are five current Vikings that could have much bigger roles during the 2020 season?
