With Kevin Stefanski agreeing to become the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns, who will step in as the next Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator?

On Sunday, reports came out that Kevin Stefanski was leaving his duties as the offensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings to become the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

This is great for Stefanski, as he’s been an assistant coach for a long time in the NFL who has slowly worked his way up the ranks. It does create a problem for the Vikings though, as they’re now in the market for their fifth offensive coordinator since Mike Zimmer was hired in 2014.

Minnesota would probably like to hire someone who will continue to rely on the running game and utilize Dalvin Cook in a similar way Stefanski did this past season. They’ll also want to hire someone who will coach to Kirk Cousins‘s strengths and obviously not want to make him do things that his skill set isn’t suited for.

The Vikings do have some options who are very familiar with the team, including a couple who are still on the current staff. They could even end up going with some surprise names from the outside too.

So who are a few of the candidates Minnesota could be looking at to become their new offensive coordinator for the 2020 season?
