The Minnesota Vikings couldn’t get the job done against the San Francisco 49ers in the playoffs and there were some good and bad things to discuss.

Fans knew that following up an exciting Wild Card upset over the Saints would be a massive challenge, but the Minnesota Vikings were absolutely dominated in every phase of the game by a well-rested and well-prepared San Francisco 49ers team.

Their dreams of playing in Super Bowl LIV came to a screeching halt when the team from the Bay Area by a final score of 10-27. Now, Minnesota will spend the offseason trying to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it.

With so much talent on the Vikings roster, they should return as contenders next season. However, the team should have been able to compete better against San Francisco in the playoffs, but at least they know more about how to attack the offseason.
