11. Laquon Treadwell, wide receiver

When thinking in terms of Laquon Treadwell being a first round draft pick, he has to be considered a bust. His lackluster play led to him being released by the Minnesota Vikings but a need to fill spots at the position brought him back to the purple and gold.

Upon coming back, it was obvious there was a shift in his mentality. He continued to be an excellent blocker in 2019 but also had nine catches for 184 yards in a limited role, which gives him an excellent 20.4 yards per reception.

This isn’t to say that Treadwell should be guaranteed a roster spot or should get guaranteed money in his contract. If the price is right, bringing him back to camp to compete for a spot on the roster would be a wise move for both budgetary and roster-filling reasons.

If the Vikings do move on, that means the team is putting a lot of hope in their crop of developing late-round picks or undrafted free agents to make great strides this offseason. This would be a nice, inexpensive insurance policy to ensure the team doesn’t get much worse at the position.
