4. Britton Colquitt, punter/holder

The Minnesota Vikings finally corrected one of their biggest mistakes from the past few seasons by bringing in an experienced holder who is also a great punter. Now, letting him walk would be a massive mistake going forward.

Last year, Britton Colquitt had a cap hit of $645,000, which cost nearly nothing when factoring in the top salaries of the team. It would be absolutely ridiculous not to consider bringing him back after some failed attempts to fill the position with younger or higher profile individuals would be absurd.

Colquitt has brought continuity to a position that has seemed like a revolving door for the purple and gold and rolling to the dice to change that up with another player unless they’re a proven community would be a massive mistake.

The Vikings found their young long snapper in the late seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft and the team needs to find a core special teams unit that can grow together and bring consistency to the kicking game. Fans of Minnesota would love not to hold their breath on every field goal attempt or punt moving forward.
