The Senior Bowl takes place this week with the game commencing on Saturday. Who are five defensive prospects the Minnesota Vikings should keep a close eye on?

The Senior Bowl is one of the biggest pre-draft events there is. Top-notch talent from around the nation takes part in this game with many of the players being selected in the first round. Some big names on the defensive side of the ball who played in this game in recent years are L.J. Collier, Marcus Davenport, Dre Greenlaw, Fred Warner, Darius Leonard, and Darnell Savage. There is an abundance of talent and this year is no exception.

Every team will have a handful of scouts, coaches, and other talent evaluators on hand to watch these guys close up. The Vikings are sure to be there and will be looking to fill some holes on the defensive side of the ball early in the draft.

They’ll definitely have the closest eye on the group of cornerbacks but will also be watching positions such as safety, linebacker, and defensive tackle. The Vikings often draft players from this game, so for any fan wanting to get an early look at a potential future Viking, tuning in this Saturday would be a good idea.

Here are five defensive players the Vikings should be watching closely during the week in Mobile, and the game this Saturday.
