Jayron Kearse has made it clear he isn’t going to return to the Minnesota Vikings in 2020. Who are five potential teams he could sign with?

Jayron Kearse has been a solid part of the Minnesota Vikings for the last few years. While he hasn’t started many games, he’s been a valuable and versatile part of the secondary, and one of the best and most consistent players on special teams.

The Vikings have used Kearse in a plethora of ways on defense. He has played safety, slot corner, and even a little linebacker. He’s a true swiss army knife of a player and one who probably should have had more playing time in his tenure with Minnesota.

With Harrison Smith rarely injured and Anthony Harris emerging during the last couple of seasons, Kearse got pushed down the depth chart and opportunities for extended playing time on the Vikings defense were few and far between.

Kearse has made big plays for the team when he’s been on the field for the defense. He had key plays in Minnesota’s 2019 matchups against the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos that helped the Vikings get the win.

He realizes his worth and he wants a chance to be a starter somewhere else. Minnesota won’t be able to afford him in 2020, even if he wanted to come back, so the parting of ways will be a mutual one. So what are five potential landing spots for the future former Vikings safety?
