Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs will have no shortage of suitors should he be made available for trade during the 2020 offseason.

Minnesota Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs has been the subject of intense speculation by some regarding his future with the franchise given thanks to a few controversial moments throughout the 2019 campaign and the financial commitment made to him by the team’s front office.

It is well known that the Vikings are up against the wall when it comes to the salary cap this offseason. In order to become a leading contender in the NFC in 2020 and not just a fringe postseason team, they will likely need to get creative with some of their decisions.

Minnesota making Diggs expendable would be controversial given his production over the last two seasons, where he has totaled 2,151 yards and 15 touchdowns on 165 receptions.

However, there is plenty to suggest by his demeanor and petulance in 2019 that he might be ready for a fresh start. His inability or unwillingness to quash trade rumors earlier this season only added fuel to the fire.

The Vikings would likely ask for a king’s ransom in exchange for Diggs, who is one of the best deep threats in the entire NFL and boasted an exceptional 17.9 yards per catch in 2019.

Given the need many teams around the league have to improve their pass-catching options this offseason, there should be a significant market for Diggs.

Diggs is entering the prime of his career and he will not want to waste it being Minnesota’s third option in their offense behind running back Dalvin Cook and Adam Thielen.

This situation is just one fascinating element of a critical offseason for the Vikings this year. So who are five teams that may be in the hunt for Diggs should he be made available by Minnesota before next season?
