Who are the five best players that have been selected in the sixth round of the NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings since 2010?

During the last decade, the Minnesota Vikings have done pretty well for themselves in the NFL Draft. The majority of the Vikings’ current roster has come from players they’ve either drafted themselves or signed as rookie free agents after the draft has concluded.

Minnesota general manager Rick Spielman and his scouting department should be lauded for their overall work in seeing the potential in these young players and bringing them in. The Vikings coaching staff should also be commended for developing these prospects and getting the most out of many of them.

One round in which Minnesota hasn’t fared so well during the last decade has come with their selections in the sixth round.

For whatever reason, the Vikings have had far more misses in this round than hits. They’ve actually had more success finding contributors in the seventh round than in the round that precedes it.

That being said, Minnesota has been able to find a few talented players in the sixth round of the NFL Draft during the last decade and here’s a list of their five best selections.
