6 free-agent quarterbacks the Vikings could sign in 2020

David Fales
David Fales has been in the league since 2014. He’s got experience playing in the NFC North as he was with the Chicago Bears for the first four seasons of his career.
Fales has good enough size standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing in at 213 pounds. He doesn’t have a rocket arm, but he can get enough zip on his deep balls.
One of the lesser-known commodities on this list, Fales has very little experience, having played in a total of just three games during his time in the NFL. He’s attempted 48 passes in his career and completed 31 of them for 287 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.
While that lack of game experience is definitely a concern, he also has more upside than some other options.
Fales just hasn’t gotten many opportunities in his pro career. Perhaps if given the chance, he can produce at a respectable level. He has been in the league long enough to develop an understanding of not just offensive schemes, but plenty of defensive ones as well.
If he can apply some of that knowledge to on-field action and make the right decisions, he could prove to be a viable part-time starter if forced into action for the Vikings next season.
