There’s no doubt the Minnesota Vikings will be scouring the 2020 free-agent wire for cornerbacks. Who are six corners they could consider signing this offseason?
The Minnesota Vikings once had a very deep and talented group of cornerbacks, but that is no longer the case. The Vikings are going to be hit hard in this area with free agency coming up as their two best corners could leave for deals the Vikings just can’t afford.
Mackensie Alexander and Trae Waynes might have both played their last games in purple and each will be looking to land the biggest paydays of their careers this March.
Xavier Rhodes is a strong candidate to be cut, thinning out the depth and experience of this group even more. Mike Hughes will be in line to start, but he injured his neck at the end of the 2019 season, so whether or not he’ll be a full go at the start of the 2020 season is anyone’s guess.
