6 positions up for grabs for the Minnesota Vikings in 2020
By Nik Edlund

After a 2019 season that saw them get to within one game of the NFC Championship which positions will be up for grabs in 2020 for the Minnesota Vikings?
During the 2019 season, the Minnesota Vikings made the playoffs and even advanced to the second round.
The Vikings had a well balanced offensive attack that could move the ball on the ground or through the air. Their defense wasn’t as stout as it had been in recent years, but it still came up big in plenty of games.
Minnesota has some players on their current roster who struggled last season and don’t deserve to get their starting jobs back. In the position groups that feature some of these disappointing players, the Vikings would be wise to bring in some competition this offseason and allow the best man to get the gig.
Minnesota’s roster is also expected to take a pretty big hit thanks to free agency this year. The Vikings have plenty of players who will no longer be under contract this March and the team doesn’t have the cap space to re-sign the majority of these guys. So there will probably be new faces at a lot of positions for Minnesota in 2020.
Some of these new guys could be rookies, some could already be on the roster, and a few could come from free agency. But let’s check out some of the positions that are expected to be up for grabs this offseason for the Vikings.
