Two weeks into the return of the XFL, which current standouts from the league should the Minnesota Vikings consider adding for the 2020 season?

With Week 2 of the XFL season in the rearview, we have a better sense of who belongs in the NFL and who does not. Not every player in the XFL is an NFL talent, but there are some studs playing in Oliver Luck’s league.

The Minnesota Vikings, along with the other 31 NFL teams, should keep their eyes open as a handful of XFL stars should be able to earn NFL jobs by the start of the 2020 season. With NFL rosters giving 90 players a chance to compete in the summer, why shouldn’t the Vikings seek professional talent from the XFL?

These guys are not going to come in and expect to be given a starting job in the NFL. But some may have a chance to battle for a starting spot or a role during training camp.

The XFL is an opportunity for some young players to prove they can play at the highest level of the sport. A few guys have already created a buzz after just two games in the young league. Players like Cardale Jones and P.J. Walker will be highly-touted names once they wrap up their seasons.

Minnesota still has a long offseason ahead of them. The NFL Draft will bring in fresh bodies and some youth to an aging roster. But there is a real chance some XFL players could earn a spot on the Vikings’ final 53-man roster for 2020. Let’s check out some of the guys from the XFL Minnesota should be paying attention to.
