Ka’imi Fairbairn

Sometimes, free agency is a brutal place and many of the top prospects at an important position will be snapped up by other teams in need of filling a hole on their rosters. If that happens with kickers this year, the Vikings may have to look to a player like Ka’imi Fairbairn.

Assuming Adam Vinatieri hangs up his cleats this offseason at 47-years-old, Fairbairn is one of the last options to grab in free agency before having to dive into the undrafted free agents from the 2020 NFL Draft pool.

Of the six players on this list, Fairbairn had the lowest conversion rate on extra points and made only 80 percent of his field-goal kicks in 2019. The upside is that he is only 26-years-old, making him the youngest player on this list by a significant margin.
