Logan Stenberg – G (Kentucky)

The Vikings will want to keep a close eye on Logan Stenberg at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine. He is a diamond in the rough and he could be an instant starter if he brushes up certain aspects of his play.

Stenberg boasts the perfect size and weight of an interior lineman (6-foot-6, 322 pounds) and although there are plenty of questions he will need to answer, he can be a valued contributor.

Stenberg had a hugely impressive Senior Bowl week earlier this year that checked off a lot of boxes about his ability to make a good transition to the NFL. His power off the line of scrimmage is a valuable asset to have.

One area of great concern is Stenberg’s mobility. His weakness showed up on more than one occasion during the season when dealing with quick pass rushers and he lacks the agility needed to fill in at multiple positions.

This is something Minnesota has recently become known to like in their offensive lineman. Stenberg will probably need to have an exceptional Combine this week to ensure he is given consideration after round one.

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins needs more help on the offensive line and the inconsistent play of Pat Elflein last season was well documented.

It would not be a shock for Minnesota to go with a Day 1 pick to address this need. They did this last year when they took Garrett Bradbury in the first round out of North Carolina State.
