7 prospects for the Vikings to watch on Day 1 at the 2020 Combine

CeeDee Lamb – WR (Oklahoma)
Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is another that is set to take this year’s NFL Combine by storm and his skill set will easily transfer to the next level.
He is an exceptional route-runner with the sort of dependable hands that any pro quarterback will love. Lamb is equally adept at going over the middle as he is downfield and he is the perfect size for a wide receiver at 6-foot-2.
Lamb recorded an outstanding 1,327 yards last season, which was ranked sixth in the entire country. He also tied-fifth in touchdowns with 14 and boasted an incredible 21.4 yards per catch average on 62 receptions.
The prospect broke the 1,000-yard barrier for the first time in 2018 with 1,158 to go with 11 touchdowns. His 3,292 yards in three seasons are among the best in Sooners history and he formed a prolific partnership with quarterback Jalen Hurts last season.
All signs point to Lamb taking these impressive totals into the NFL. Even though rookie wide receivers do tend to struggle with consistency, given how well he runs routes and collects passes consistently, he should have no trouble whatsoever.
The Vikings may see Lamb as the perfect partner for Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen. The presence of this duo would also take the pressure off the young receiver to immediately put up big numbers as he gets adjusted to life in the big leagues.
