Jalen Reagor – WR (TCU)

Speed kills in the NFL and former TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor is a burner. This trait of his is going to ensure one team falls in love with him at this year’s NFL Combine and it could propel him into first-round consideration.

Reagor possesses jaw-dropping speed and he is also an accomplished route runner, albeit a little rough around the edges. This can be coached up though and there is no doubting his potential as a very exciting prospect.

Although he had a downward 2019 season due to niggling injury problems, it should not put any NFL teams off from drafting Reagor with a high-end selection this year. With the Vikings, he would provide them with a different option in their passing game that compliments their star tandem of Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen incredibly well.

While Reagor’s blistering speed will be a standout feature of his Combine tests, his athleticism and hand-eye coordination are other very notable traits that will impress.

If he lands in Minnesota, there will not be any considerable expectations to put up lofty numbers in the short-term unless Diggs is traded. The Vikings’ need for a No. 3 wide receiver is there for all to see and Reagor would give quarterback Kirk Cousins another prominent target in an offense that is littered with playmakers.

Whether Minnesota wants to select a wide receiver at the top end of this year’s draft with so many needs elsewhere is a decision only head coach Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman can make.
