Day 2 of the on-field workouts at the 2020 NFL Combine is an important one for the Minnesota Vikings as offensive lineman take center stage.
The offensive line has been a problematic position for the Minnesota Vikings in recent years and the glaring holes were once again highlighted in their playoff loss against the San Francisco 49ers last season.
Vikings left guard Pat Elflein was exposed during critical stages of the 2019 campaign and it has left his long-term future with the organization in doubt. Head coach Mike Zimmer and general manager Rick Spielman know Minnesota’s championship window is closing and they will need to strike gold with some immediate help during the 2020 NFL Draft.
Although the kickers and running backs will also showcase their skills on Friday at the NFL Scouting Combine, neither is a real position of need for the Vikings. More help is needed for the Vikings’ offensive line and the Combine is the perfect place to find it. So let’s take a look at a few prospects who will take the eye of Minnesota’s scouts on Friday.
