Tyler Biadasz – C (Wisconsin)
Tyler Biadasz enjoyed a prolific college career over a three-year period and he should be going into the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine with plenty of confidence.
The Vikings’ offensive line needs help right now on their interior and Biadasz might be the answer to their problems. He was part of the formidable Badgers front during 2017 and 2018, building on this with another impressive campaign in 2019.
One thing Minnesota head coach Mike Zimmer will love about Biadasz is his aggressiveness. He attacks every play as if it is his last and sometimes plays beyond the whistle.
Biadasz is an incredibly powerful individual who coped well on passing downs while opening up gaping holes for star Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor last season.
All these skills as going to make Biadasz a starter from day one in the NFL and he may be versatile enough to move into the guard spot over time. Whether the Vikings wish to remove Garrett Bradbury out of his center position after a promising rookie campaign may cause disruption to a player that looks very accustomed to his current spot on the line.
This is another question that needs to be answered by Minnesota, who has a series of pivotal decisions to make in the coming weeks.
If Biadasz can brush up on areas such as balance and his ability to pick up pass rushers from the second level, then there is no reason to suspect he will not have a long career in the NFL.
