Kristian Fulton – CB (LSU)

A strong performance from Kristian Fulton at the NFL Scouting Combine could see the talented cornerback enter first-round consideration.

A number of draft experts predict Fulton to be a second-round pick this year. But there is no reason to suggest he cannot come off the board during the first 32 picks after a superb final season with the National Champions.

He notched 38 tackles, 14 pass deflections, and one interception for LSU in 2019 while emerging as one of the premier players at his position. Fulton does have problems with positioning that need to be worked on at the next level and his ability to contest 50-50 balls given his 6-foot frame is something else that can also be exposed.

Fulton has a great skill of preventing excessive separation from receivers and he tracks them very well down the field. If he can brush up on areas of his game that need improvement, then an NFL team is going to have a real player on their hands.

There is no substitute for experience and Fulton has that in abundance. He is a real winner and he is a keen motivator of others around him.

This would see him fit perfectly in a Vikings locker room that could lose some top veteran defenders on their roster in the coming weeks.

He is going to test well at the Combine and has the film to back it up. So it would not be a surprise to see a team fall in love with him during the evaluation process.
