5 prospects moving down the Vikings draft board after the 2020 Combine
By Nik Edlund

Jalen Reagor – WR (TCU)
Wide receiver is a position the Vikings will likely be addressing in the 2020 NFL Draft. Their depth behind Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs needs to improve and while they are unlikely to address this need in the first round, it’s definitely an option for every round after.
Minnesota surely kept a close eye on all the receiving prospects who participated in the Combine this year and one who should be moving down their draft board after his performance is former TCU pass-catcher Jalen Reagor.
Reagor was considered a fringe first-round prospect who could move up the board with a solid Combine workout, but he wasn’t able to do that.
In the 40-yard dash, the 5-foot-11, 206-pound receiver clocked in at 4.47 seconds. For a guy lacking size, he’s got to make up for it with speed and he didn’t do that.
Not just that, but Reagor was widely expected to be one of the fastest guys at the Combine and he even said he figured he’d run in the 4.2s. Perhaps he just had a bad day, but he followed up that 4.47 with a 4.50, so improving that number at his Pro Day will be his main focus moving forward.
The good news for Reagor was that he did well in the broad jump and the vertical. So instead of having a bad day, he just had a bit of an uneven one. However, the Vikings definitely can’t take this guy in the first round and they now have to look at him as a mid-second round type of talent at best.
