Is Jordan Love now out of the Vikings’ reach after the 2020 Combine?

Although Jordan Love had a down season in 2019, he has still shown enough to make NFL scouts sit up and take notice.
The quarterback threw for 3,402 yards during his junior season, completing 61.2 percent of his passes to notch 20 touchdowns. This did come with a worrying 17 interceptions that left some questioning his ability to be a starter in the pros.
Love’s 2018 campaign was exceptional. He recorded 3,567 yards to go along with 32 touchdowns and just six interceptions. During this season, he had a formidable offensive line protecting him and he thrived in the scheme implemented by Utah State.
If Love has the right sort of players around him in the NFL, then a return to this sort of form is not out of the question.
There is plenty of film to further highlight his qualities. His pocket presence is fantastic and although he does need to brush up on his decision-making, his ceiling is incredibly high.
Love possesses a rare ability of making something out of nothing, something that has been the trademark of recent NFL Draft success stories such as Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Deshaun Watson.
While it is unrealistic to expect this elite level of play right away, the potential is there if Love is drafted by a team that is willing to be patient.
