The Minnesota Vikings could land some familiar names during the 2020 NFL Draft, with three prospects boasting notable franchise connections.

This year’s NFL Draft is a significant one for the Minnesota Vikings, who are looking to push on and make a Super Bowl bid next season.

With the Vikings’ current salary cap restricting them from pursuing top-name free agents or keeping some of their star names around, the draft is going to be of paramount importance this offseason.

This year’s pool of draft prospects is among the deepest in recent memory across a variety of positions. There are plenty of connections relating to three prominent prospects who could follow in their family footsteps if they are picked by Minnesota.

Trevon Diggs, the brother of current star Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs, is entering the NFL Draft after a standout college career at Alabama. He is an intriguing proposition in an area of significant need for Minnesota this year.

LSU’s national championship-winning tight end Thaddeus Moss is the son of Vikings’ Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players to ever wear the purple and gold.

Antoine Winfield Jr. needs no introduction to the Minnesota fan base, with his father enjoying a sensational nine-year career with the Vikings.

Either of these three prospects would be hugely popular if Minnesota drafted them. But what is the likelihood of them ending up with the Vikings for next season?
