Could Moss, Winfield, and Diggs follow in their Vikings family footsteps?
By Dean Jones

Thaddeus Moss – TE (LSU)
Thaddeus Moss made the most out of his one year at LSU and is he projected to be a high NFL Draft pick next month.
The tight end recorded 570 yards on 47 receptions in 2019, securing four touchdowns, and a 12.1 yards per catch average. Moss became quarterback Joe Burrow’s favorite red-zone target thanks to his big frame and elite hands.
This was no more evident than in the National Championship game against Clemson when Moss found the end zone on two occasions to play a leading role in his team’s success.
Following in the footsteps of one of the most electrifying players to ever grace the NFL field is a daunting task. But it is a challenge that Moss has openly accepted and he has the talent and attitude to succeed at the next level.
He has an old head on young shoulders and he will no doubt have taken on his father’s advice during the evaluation process. This could see Moss taken in the first round, but there is little chance of him lasting past the second.
The tight end position is not one of need for the Vikings given this year the play of veteran Kyle Rudolph and the impressive rookie campaign of Irv Smith Jr. in 2019.
One thing that might change this is if Rudolph is traded or released to ease salary cap concerns. as the former Notre Dame product is set to count $9.24 million against Minnesota’s cap next season.
