The Minnesota Vikings didn’t often pick in the third round of the NFL Draft since 2010. Who are their best and worst choices in the third round in the last 10 years?

The third round of the NFL Draft is usually one that is still loaded with plenty of talent. Every single year players who are expected to go earlier, are still on the board late on Friday night.

It’s a great opportunity for teams to find value and take a chance on a guy who may have a minor injury or character concerns.

The Minnesota Vikings have only had six third-round picks in the last decade. Some years they have packaged the choice to get an extra first-round pick and sometimes they’ve moved down and out of the round altogether to accumulate more picks on Day 3 of the draft.

The Vikings have hit on their third-round choices more often than they’ve missed on them since 2010. They’ve found plenty of solid starters and one superstar.

With the success Minnesota general manager Rick Spielman has had picking in the third round, it’s surprising he doesn’t make selections in that round more often.

So who are the best and the worst of the Vikings’ third-round draft choices during the last decade?
