Which deals do the Minnesota Vikings regret handing out as they get ready for the new league year to begin with hardly any money to help improve their roster?

During the last few years, the Minnesota Vikings have made some great financial decisions. The Vikings always seem to have good timing when it comes to giving a young player on their roster a new deal.

Guys like Danielle Hunter, Harrison Smith, and Stefon Diggs are considered bargains when their current contracts are compared to some of the other top players in their position groups around the NFL.

Of course, for all of the good financial choices Minnesota has made recently, they’ve also made plenty of bad ones.

The Vikings are very loyal to players on their roster who they have drafted and watched develop into solid contributors. Sometimes, however, Minnesota gets caught up in trying to maintain their reputation of being loyal and they reward guys who they probably would have been fine without.

Some of these players who have reaped the benefits of the Vikings not wanting to ruin this reputation are on the team’s current roster. Of this group, which guys should be considered as the most overpaid as Minnesota heads into the 2020 free agency period?
