Wide receiver Stefon Diggs is playing plenty of mind games this offseason, which is a problem the Minnesota Vikings could do without heading into a crucial few weeks.

The Minnesota Vikings are getting ready for their biggest offseason in recent memory that will shape the long and short-term future of the franchise.

Star wide receiver Stefon Diggs is not making matters any easier, with a series of cryptic tweets and bizarre behavior providing an unwelcome distraction.

This has also cast his future with the franchise into doubt despite general manager Rick Spielman stating at the 2020 NFL Combine they want to keep the player on the roster.

"“Stefon, last year, had probably his most productive year. He’s a young receiver we just extended. He’s not only a major part of our offense and a major part of our organization winning games, but he also does a lot of things for this organization off the field, as well. There’s no reason, or the rumors or whatever you’re talking about, to anticipate that Stefon Diggs is not going to be a Minnesota Viking.”"

The former fifth-round pick out of Maryland has kept his name in the news since the Vikings were eliminated from the playoffs by the San Francisco 49ers last season. Whether this is to stoke the fire and instigate a way out of Minnesota, or simply due to boredom, is a subject that is up for serious debate.

Either way, this is becoming a growing concern and one that the Vikings need to address.
