With the Minnesota Vikings now holding two picks in the first round of the 2020 Draft, what are some possible combinations of choices they could make?

Love it or hate it, Stefon Diggs has been traded to the Buffalo Bills. The Minnesota Vikings got a fifth-round pick, a sixth-round pick, a fourth-round pick next year, and also the big boy, which was a first-round pick in this year’s NFL Draft No. 22 overall.

The Vikings now hold the 22nd and the 25th overall choices in the draft and they have a chance to upgrade two major areas of need with guys who could be starters in year one. The question is which two positions do they address?

Minnesota has big needs at cornerback, offensive tackle, defensive tackle, potentially safety, and now wide receiver. The Vikings have a plethora of routes they could go and there are endless combinations of players and positions they could take.

What Minnesota chooses to do will vary depending on who is available at both choices. It’s even possible the Vikings could opt to move up using the extra third-round choices they also have at their disposal.

For the sake of this article though, we’ll assume Minnesota stays put and lets the board fall to them in the first round. So let’s go ahead and look at four different prospect combinations the Vikings could end up with the 22nd and 25th picks during this year’s draft.
