Who are some of the players left in free agency that could end up stepping on the field for the Minnesota Vikings during the upcoming 2020 season?

It has been a week now since the Minnesota Vikings and the rest of the NFL were able to begin negotiating potential deals with this year’s class of free agents.

Most of the Vikings’ signings this offseason have been players who were on their roster in 2019. Minnesota did end up landing free-agent defensive tackle Michael Pierce, but he’s been the only new guy the team has been able to sign this year.

So far this offseason, the Vikings have actually seen more players from their 2019 roster depart for opportunities with new teams. Guys like Trae Waynes, Mackensie Alexander, Jayron Kearse, Stephen Weatherly, and Andrew Sendejo all decided to sign deals elsewhere this year instead of returning to Minnesota.

Thanks to some recent financial moves, the Vikings currently have around $14 million in cap space. With Minnesota still having some holes to fill on their roster, they could turn to free agency to add a few more players who could help them in 2020.

With the majority of the most expensive players already off the market, who are some of the remaining free agents that could end up on the Vikings’ roster before the start of next season?
