Xavier Rhodes

We all know who Xavier Rhodes is and we can’t eliminate the possibility the Vikings of bringing him back just yet.

Rhodes had a rough season in 2019 and he dealt with injuries that were potentially a big reason why he had such a lackluster performance.

The numbers are pretty tough to look at though. In 15 games last season, Rhodes allowed opposing quarterbacks to post a 123.8 rating when targeting him in addition to giving up four touchdowns and 57 catches to his coverage.

Definitely not the numbers a team looks for from their No. 1 corner. He was set to make more than $10 million in 2020, so it made sense for Minnesota to let him test the free-agent market this offseason.

Rhodes would need to take a significant pay cut if he wanted to come back to the Vikings and that may not be something that he is willing to do. But if he’s not getting any of the offers he was hoping for, he could very well come back to a place he has been familiar with during his entire career.
