Corner options in the first round
This early in the draft, there are going to be plenty of options for the Vikings to snag one of the top cornerback prospects.
Minnesota received the No. 22 pick from the Buffalo Bills in the recent Stefon Diggs trade. With the sure assumption that Jeffrey Okudah from Ohio State will come off the board somewhere in the top 10, that leaves some pretty intriguing names for the Vikings to choose from.
The first guy is from the National Champion LSU Tigers, Kristian Fulton. He was highly regarded coming into 2019 as someone who could have some top 10 buzz. He has slipped a little and he could potentially fall into Minnesota’s lap with one of their two first-round picks.
The other corner that is less likely to fall to the Vikings at pick No. 25, but could potentially be there at pick No. 22 is former Florida corner C.J. Henderson. He’s a sticky man-coverage type of corner who can be that guy on the outside to cover the opposing team’s top receiver and shut him down.
