Second Round (Pick No. 58)

Prince Tega Wanogho – LT (Auburn)

There is no doubt that the Vikings need to address the offensive line. This year’s second-tier of offensive tackles could be the first-tier in many other draft classes.

Prince Tego Wanogho falls into that tier-two category. He’s dealt with some knee injuries which held him out of some games as well as this year’s NFL Scouting Combine. But he’s a very athletic tackle that blocks really well in space.

He’s a natural left tackle and will fit well in Gary Kubiak’s blocking scheme for Minnesota. Wanogho has a big frame to him that seems to be just pure muscle. He has a long reach with a wingspan of 80.75 inches. He uses his length to keep defenders from getting inside of his frame and he generates power from his strong lower half.

He has a good center of gravity with a strong anchor and he’s very tough to move. He won’t get beaten by power rushers too often and he is athletic enough to counter against speed rushers.
