Another who made a very successful transfer, Jacob Eason has risen steadily up NFL Draft boards during his final college season and throughout the evaluation process.

The Washington standout has an elite arm that could become a huge hit at the next level. Eason is your stereotypical pocket-passer and has supreme confidence in his ability to make every possible throw.

This can sometimes be to his detriment. Eason is a risk-taker and comes with feast-or-famine potential unless he proves his decision-making against more imposing defenses going forward.

Eason has great size and possesses an incredible deep ball. What he does need to work on during his initial NFL development is mechanics and his football IQ in terms of making the right decision.

The quarterback also tends to deliver every pass at a ferocious pace. Improving his touch is also going to be crucial is he is to make a success of his NFL career.

It doesn’t appear that Eason is ready to start right away. So depending on where falls will determine if he is going to be on the Minnesota Vikings’ radar.

The franchise is expected to use their opening selections on cornerback, interior offensive line and wide receiver. But if Eason is available when they are on the clock in the third round, the player would warrant consideration.
