The Minnesota Vikings are currently very thin at the safety position. Who are six prospects they could take in the 2020 NFL Draft?

The Minnesota Vikings are currently set at safety when it comes to their starters. In fact, their duo of Anthony Harris and Harrison Smith is arguably the best in the NFL.

There are, however, a couple of issues. First of all, Harris was given the franchise tag and his duration with the Vikings past the 2020 season is currently up in the air.

Also, Harrison Smith is 31-years-old and as good as he is, he can’t play forever. What is the most troubling of all, is that there is no depth behind these two. Minnesota literally has no backup safeties right now.

The Vikings have to beef up their safety corps in the 2020 NFL Draft and they could even potentially look for a new starter for down the road. Minnesota could address this position as early as the first round and they are almost sure to do it by the third round.

The Vikings will probably draft more than one safety this year and there are plenty of talented ones in the 2020 class. Who are a few that Minnesota could select this year?
