How will Diggs fare with the Bills?

If Stefon Diggs thought Kirk Cousins was inconsistent during his time with the Vikings, he could get a shock when he plays with Buffalo Bills’ gunslinger Josh Allen.

Allen is very mobile and his quick feet get him out of a lot of trouble. But his accuracy is a major concern and it must be addressed this offseason if the Bills are to wrestle the AFC East title from the all-conquering New England Patriots.

Allen has a modest completion percentage of 56.3 throughout his two-year career. Compare that with Cousins’ 66.9 average and his 2019 tally of 69.1, and the grass might not be greener for Diggs.

This is a loaded Bills’ roster that is expected to do very well next season. They possess some formidable young offensive weapons in Devin Singletary, John Brown and Cole Beasley.

The team plays with a huge chip on their shoulder and the Buffalo defense is also something that is set to make substantial improvements in 2020. Diggs is going to bring a high-profile presence to the offense and this could be enough to see them make a postseason return.

How happy he will be in his new surroundings remains to be seen. Diggs has had the comfort of playing in a dome with the Vikings. But the cold in Buffalo is notorious from October onwards and this will be a stern test of the receiver’s hands within a bitter climate throughout the season.
