Antoine Winfield Jr. – DB

Here’s a guy who Vikings’ fans would hate to see end up in the NFC North this year. Antoine Winfield Jr. is not only the son of former Vikings great Antoine Winfield, but he played his college ball for the Golden Gophers.

Seeing the son of a purple and gold legend, end up in honolulu blue or navy and white, would be hard to swallow. What would be even worse is if this kid ended up in green and gold. This would make many Minnesota fans absolutely sick to their stomachs. The Vikings would also hate it because one of these teams in the division would be getting a hell of a playmaker.

Winfield is small at only 5-foot-9, but he’s got a thick muscular frame. He has been around football all of his life so he understands offensive concepts and what they are likely going to do in certain formations and situations.

He is extremely opportunistic and always seems to make big, game-changing plays. Winfield had seven interceptions just last year to go with two forced fumbles and a touchdown. He is a clutch player who always seems to come through in big moments.

Winfield is a guy who the Vikings would love to add this year, but they would probably have to take him with the 25th pick unless they move down the board or trade up in the second round.

There’s no reason to think his playmaking ability won’t carry over to the pros and the team that gets him will be getting a heck of a football player. Minnesota and their fans just hope that team doesn’t play in the NFC North.
