How will Linval Joseph’s legacy with the Vikings be remembered?

How will Joseph fare with the Chargers?
Linval Joseph showed last season that he still has some good years left in him. He was a victim of circumstance with the Minnesota Vikings and there is a high likelihood he would still be around if the financial commitment towards him was less impactful on their salary cap.
The Los Angeles Chargers are getting an experienced player who knows how to make the most of the tools he has. Joseph possesses heavy hands and although he might not be able to get to the quarterback like he used to, there is still plenty to like about his play.
He is going to a team with plenty of playmakers despite opting not to bring back Melvin Gordon and releasing quarterback Phillip Rivers following a glittering career. They also have plenty of game-changers on the defensive side of the ball.
Plugging Joseph in between stud pass-rushers Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram has an enormous amount of potential. A lot will depend on who the Chargers bring in to replace Rivers. But there is definite hope of a playoff return in a very tough division.
The two-year deal given to Joseph might be the last of his NFL career. He has made almost $50 million so far and one wonders whether he will be willing to put the extra toll on his body when the player enters his mid-30s.
