Isaiah Wilson (Georgia)

Measurements:

  • Height: 6-foot-6 | Weight: 350 pounds

Isaiah Wilson seems like a perfect fit for the Minnesota Vikings. He is a dominant run blocker that would give their star back Dalvin Cook another formidable weapon to move behind during the final year of his rookie deal.

Wilson is surprisingly explosive for a man his size. He backs this up with superb power to move pass-rushers off their desired course.

His massive frame makes him extremely difficult to get around. Wilson’s punch power at the point of attack is ruthless and once he has hands-on an onrushing defender there is no getting away from the player.

There are some technical aspects of his game that do need some work. His hand speed and positioning is something that could be better and Wilson sometimes plays tight in pressure situations.

If the Georgia product can work out these kinks during what promises to be a reduced preseason due to the COVID-19 pandemic, then the sky is the limit. He is projected to be a late first or early second-round pick, meaning the Vikings will have to take him with one of their first-rounders to have a chance of acquiring the player.

Wilson possesses tremendous upside to be a day one NFL starter and is going to get significant interest from elsewhere.
