Third Round (Pick No. 105)

Netane Muti – G (Fresno State)

If it weren’t for a pair of major injuries including a shoulder and torn Achillies that ended his collegiate career, Netane Muti would go much higher in the draft. While you can say that about many prospects, this may be true in the case of Muti because of his legendary power.

Don’t take my word for it. Ask Muti’s teammates at Fresno State, who were interviewed for a piece where he was compared to unicorns, Bigfoot, and the Loch Ness Monster.

If the assumption that he can pancake a live moose isn’t enough for you, his tape during his freshman year with the Bulldogs might help. Running around like a human wrecking ball, Muti can stop 300-pound men in their tracks one minute before sending them flying down the field on a running play.

With brute power to spare, his mobility and toughness should bring something the Vikings offensive line hasn’t had in a while. If Minnesota is okay with his medicals, Muti could be a force that transforms their offensive line.
