Amik Robertson – CB (Lousiana Tech)

Measurements:

  • Height: 5-foot-8 | Weight: 187 pounds

2019 Stats:

  • 60 tackles
  • 16 pass breakups
  • 5 interceptions

Amik Robertson is a player that everyone is beginning to fall in love with, and it could not come at a better time for his draft stock. Robertson may be listed as a small cornerback, but he is one of the most aggressive defensive backs you will ever see.

After dominating at Louisiana Tech for three seasons, Robertson is ready to play in the NFL as a starting nickel corner.

He can come into the box and tackle against the run or he can break up plays over the middle. He is not shy of contact and he knows how to make big-time plays for his defense. He racked up 14 career interceptions for the Bulldogs and he returned three of them for touchdowns.

His run support is no joke, either. He tallied 23 tackles for a loss in three seasons at Louisiana Tech, a stat that is typically unheard of from a college cornerback. Robertson could start at nickel corner for the Vikings in 2020 and they would not have to think twice about it.
