The Minnesota Vikings face one of the most important drafts in franchise history this week. So what could happen as they enter the 2020 NFL Draft?

The Minnesota Vikings will cap off their crazy offseason this week by taking part in the 2020 NFL Draft. The draft always has a sense of excitement and anticipation, but for Vikings fans, this year’s class will take on an entirely different meaning.

Minnesota will enter the draft with 12 selections, the second-most in the league behind the Miami Dolphins, who have 14. With a ton of draft capital in their back pocket, the Vikings have a good chance to do what they want to do in a class that’s loaded with talent.

However, there is more than just the draft going on with this team. The Vikings are currently in contract negotiations with Anthony Harris on a long-term deal and trade rumors have surfaced that they’re trying to acquire the services of Odell Beckham Jr. and Trent Williams.

Mix in the event being completely virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic and this should be one of the more intriguing drafts for Minnesota in recent history.

So let’s take a look at what could happen to the Vikings during the 2020 NFL Draft and what the aftermath could be for a team looking to rebuild their roster this week.
