Percy Harvin wants to play again, should the Vikings bring him back?
By Adam Patrick
Former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin is reportedly hoping to play in the NFL again and coincidentally, his old team could use his help.
Four years into his career with the Minnesota Vikings, Percy Harvin appeared to be on a path that could have potentially landed him in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
However, injuries began to pile up for Harvin after his departure from the Vikings in 2013 and he was never able to regain the form that resulted in him being named the Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2009.
He was last seen in an NFL game in 2016 as a member of the Buffalo Bills and many figured his time in the league had concluded. But on Wednesday, ESPN’s Josina Anderson reported that Harvin is training again and he’s, “ready to return to the NFL.”
Currently 31-years-old, he could probably still provide help to a team even if his primary job is just being a kick returner.
Coincidentally, Minnesota is in need of adding a new kick returner and depth to their current group of receivers. Would the Vikings be willing to give Harvin another shot?
