Third Round (Pick No. 89)

Amik Robertson – CB (Louisiana Tech)

Minnesota decides to add their second corner of this year’s NFL Draft here. But this time, it’s to fill their need at slot corner.

Amik Robertson is only 5-foot-8 and 187 pounds, but you wouldn’t know it with how physical he plays. Robertson proved multiple times in college that he wasn’t ever afraid to lay a big hit or step up and make a tackle in the offensive backfield.

Even as a slot corner, his size is still a little on the smaller side. But once Mike Zimmer sees how tenacious Robertson can be, the Vikings head coach won’t be able to avoid falling in love with the young corner.

Third Round (Pick No. 105)

Van Jefferson – WR (Florida)

Minnesota decides to double-dip again in the third round and this time it’s at receiver. Van Jefferson is one of the best (if not the best) route-runners in the entire 2020 receiving class.

With a father who spent 13 years in the NFL, Jefferson has already perfected some skills that a number of current pro receivers don’t even have yet.

Trending. Should the Vikings bring Percy Harvin back?. light

Measuring in at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, he has the ability to line up on the outside or in the slot at the NFL level. If the Vikings were able to add Jefferson, there’s a chance that he could make people in the Twin Cities quickly forget about another elite route-runner in Stefon Diggs.
