After trading down from 25 overall and acquiring extra fourth and fifth round picks, the team made a pick at 31 to select TCU cornerback Jeff Gladney, filling a major hole left by the exit of Minnesota’s two starters.
Although Jeff Gladney might not fill the role of Xavier Rhodes or Trae Waynes right away, the Vikings got one heck of a player who could develop into a versatile and reliable weapon to slow opposing offenses.
