The Minnesota Vikings used one of their first round picks during the 2020 NFL Draft on Jeff Gladney but what should fans expect from the cornerback in 2020?

The 2020 NFL Draft was loaded with talent at the top. There were many great players who would have been great fits for the Minnesota Vikings but the team only had two selections in the top 32 picks of the first round.

After trading down from 25 overall and acquiring extra fourth and fifth round picks, the team made a pick at 31 to select TCU cornerback Jeff Gladney, filling a major hole left by the exit of Minnesota’s two starters.

Although Jeff Gladney might not fill the role of Xavier Rhodes or Trae Waynes right away, the Vikings got one heck of a player who could develop into a versatile and reliable weapon to slow opposing offenses.

Since the Minnesota Vikings need help at cornerback now, a big question is how Jeff Gladney will fit with the team in 2020 and what kind of skills he has to offer the franchise. Let’s take a look at the good qualities from the TCU defensive back.
