What the Vikings can expect from Cameron Dantzler in 2020

What to expect from Dantzler in 2020
If I had to guess right now, Dantzler will be a starting cornerback for the Vikings at some point in 2020. He has the size and physical mindset that Mike Zimmer craves in his cornerbacks. With a huge hole in the secondary, Dantzler has everything in his favor as he enters the NFL.
There will be a bit of a learning curve. Nobody drafted in the third round is going to be expected to make an enormous impact as a rookie, especially at cornerback. The only way to get better is to see plenty of game reps early on and Dantzler is in a good situation to do just that.
At the very least, Dantzler can be an impact player who matches up with bigger wide receivers while Mike Hughes and Jeff Gladney stick with the quicker weapons. Dantzler gives the Vikings options on the outside and on special teams thanks to his size and hitting ability.
