What the Vikings can expect from James Lynch in 2020

The bad
Not everything about James Lynch is ideal. While many shortcomings can be overcome with hard work and great coaching, there are some issues about the defensive lineman the Minnesota Vikings may have to be concerned about. Here are some of those.
Lack of move variety
In college, Lynch found a lot of success with a bull rush and didn’t have to branch out a lot. At the pro level, he will need to diversify his movies in order to keep opposing offenses guessing. If he can do that, he will immediately become more valuable.
Technique polish
Having a great frame and strength is good but if your moves aren’t smooth and fluid they might not result in success. Some time with the Vikings coaching staff will do wonders for the defensive lineman as well as having veterans on the team to help out.
Tracking down ball carriers
As it stands, Lynch is a pass rush specialist. He will need to prove he can be a better tackler both in gaps and in the open field if he wants to be on the field more often and not just as a situational sack artist.
