Defensive UDFAs
Nevelle Clarke – CB (UCF)
Good size (6-foot-1, 190 pounds) and he plays with an aggressiveness that the Vikings like to see from their corners. In 23 games with UCF during the last two seasons, he finished with four interceptions and 24 pass breakups.
Myles Dorn – DB (North Carolina)
Similar to Anthony Harris in size (6-foot-2, 205 pounds), which is good since Dorn could potentially be his replacement in the future. Appeared in 13 games for North Carolina last season and he ended up with 83 tackles (4.5 for a loss), six pass breakups, and two interceptions.
Jordan Fehr – LB (Appalachian State)
Led Appalachian State with 107 tackles last season in addition to also accumulating 2.5 sacks, three pass breakups, one interception, and one fumble recovery.
Blake Lynch – LB (Baylor)
Very intriguing prospect considering he spent time at Baylor as a cornerback, linebacker, running back, safety, and a wide receiver. He caught 34 passes for 404 yards and three touchdowns in 2016 and then last season as a linebacker, he finished with 68 tackles (8.5 for a loss), 3.5 sacks, two interceptions, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble.
David Moa – DT (Boise State)
Slowed down by injuries during his career, the 6-foot-3, 296-pound defensive tackle appeared in 13 games for Boise State last season and ended up with 37 tackles (6.5 for a loss) and one sack.
Check back here during the next few days as we’ll be making sure to add updates in case Minnesota decides to sign more undrafted free agents.
