Tyson Campbell – CB (Georgia)

Tyson Campbell is another cornerback with a ton of size and length that fits the profile of a typical Mike Zimmer defensive back. 6-foot-2 with long arms and a physical nature on the outside. Despite having a bit of a down year in 2019, there is still plenty to like from the rising junior.

The SEC has a ton of talent in the secondary who will make the leap to the NFL in the next few years. Campbell is among those included in one of the best positional groups in the upcoming draft and he will have the chance to prove himself against some of the best talent in the country next season.

Bouncing back against the likes of Alabama, LSU, and Florida in 2020 will get Campbell’s name back in the mix for the first round. He will get to see Ja’Marr Chase, DeVonta Smith, and Jaylen Waddle in 2020, just to name a few. He has every chance to go out and earn first-round money by playing well next season.

Now, what if the Vikings see some development from their young corners and they can take a bit of a luxury pick in 2021? Picking late in the first round after another playoff appearance will set them up for an interesting decision on offense.
